Grapple Gun and Glider speed trick

Has anybody else noticed this?
When you grapple down at the ground in front of you, if you wait until right before you reach the spot you were grappling to and then release your glider, you gain INSANE speed and distance. It's faster than flying and takes the same amount of stamina as gliding normally. Bonus points if you're using a Pal glider.

You just have to be grappling towards ground at a slightly lower elevation from you.

It also kind of works in dungeons if you point the grapple gun at the ceiling, as a way to much more quickly yeet yourself between rooms. I've found it helpful for respawning the boss.

I know there was a trick to slide-cancel into a glider to get some serious speed and distance. But since I don't know how to slide, I hadn't been able to re-create that.

Your idea sounds easier to try.

Some people simply need their self-esteem boosts in any way they can find them... perceived superiority in videogames is one such outlet for some people. I can't really bring myself to hate them, only really pity them, so I just let them have their win lol

this idea was covered in a youtube vid last year. its a good method to cover a massive distance, if done right

Oh, it also works insanely good with Hangyu and Hangyu Cryst if you crafy the gloves. You get a great speed boost while being able to fly.
