Dodge Saya's lunar beam?

I'm stuck with that boss. Im lvl 48 wfarming rocket launcher ammo, but she always one shots me with lunar beam. Can you guys share some strats pls? What would you do if you were lvl 48?

That boss is broken you should just level yourself up more and your pals. And you can avoid the beam with the grapple gun.

Well, I'd try to get myself the top tier armor and weaponry for said level (I had mostly epic tier gear, when I went to say hi for her the first time).
Speaking of, gather around 2k dog coins and then find the gold merchant to get those extra accessory slots - that way you could get atk, def and HP pendants all at once, plus some fourth accessory (not sure if equipping multiple copies of those stack, but feel free to experiment).
Also, some pal breeding for good combative skills would be advisable - extras can be used for condensating to get the desired pal even stronger afterwards (boss' pal is weak to dragon-type, so I'd suggest you check breeding trees for Orserk and/ or Jormuntide).

A bit grindy, but you'll get there in the end, though you could partially ease/ speed up the process with the following trick (this can be considered a bit cheesy tactic, but I wouldn't consider it cheating, since you're allowed to change world settings as you please).

Anyways, set supply drop/ meteorite fall meter (it says "distance" but it really means the time interval between drops) to around three minutes, keep collecting those tonics from the box drops and max out your stats one by one - it also has some other items, like schematics, so you might get lucky and get a high tier one, not to mention rare tier pendants that give +2 bonus (side note, higher level areas drop better loot, also meteorites might have some different monsters pop up).

Considering she's level 55 and you're 48, you'll get wiped with even lighter attacks from her

Get to max level, bring a team full of lvl 53+ pals with dragon attacks for extra damage and rotate them. Keep in mind it usually takes some 3 seconds for a pal to give a first attack after being summoned

In my last run, she said "nope" and proceeded to lunar beam my fastest direhowl in the first 2 seconds
