Does the ingot achievement count later game metal ingots?

I'm at the point where most things take refined ingots rather than regular ingots (and I know there is Pal Metal later?) and was wondering if these also count towards the 10k ingots smelted achievement or if I will need to produce a bunch of regular ingots?
As a guess I'd assume I'm at about 2k at most and grinding out another 8k or more when they're not even helping w progress now would be painful :'3

If you have not gotten it yet, arrows count toward your ammo achievement as well.
