Me personally, I run the single shot as my primary weapon. And at this point, I use it on the legendary pals too.
if u can print moneh then use assolt rifol
Good question. I've not tried them as they all take a bit more work to craft than rockets.
So I'd guess rocket launcher all the way
Only thing I'm aware of that might be better than the rocket launcher is the quad launcher. But I can't actually confirm. And while the rocket launcher is big damage, that's not it's primary function. It's a tool to keep Jetragon down so you don't have to deal with his bs.
One video I watched showed that the fire rate of the quad launcher is faster so you can keep a pal stunned more of the time. I think it still had a reload, but it was 1 in 4 shots and not every shot. I play with my wife, and having two people with rockets alternating shots really does make a difference in an alpha fight. If you can land every shot, you might get no attack at all from the pal before you kill it.
Most of the alpha bosses can be stunned. I think some of the toughest though, might not be stunned by the rockets. I've yet to do any of those. Not sure what they might be. Hope to get to those in the next couple of weeks.
