Hey, first time collecting cards on steam. The game only provides you with 5 cards and these wont reset after crafting my first badge. Does this mean i have to buy ALL the cards again for next badge and so on? How do i get foil cards? Also by playing?

after your 5 cards drop the game won't give you any anymore
You can craft "booster packs" if you have gems and get 3 cards per booster OR buy them all.
As for foils, you have a %1 percent per card to get a foil when you open a booster pack or, buy them all from the market.

there are selling your unwanted cards to traders in the steam trading group, they give much more than converting it, you can convert emoticons and wallpapers to gems, but only do it if they gems worth out of them is more than their price on the market.
You can also exchange things you have like TF2/CS2 keys or steam points... actually go to the group and you'll see there are several ways to earn gems, including commenting and bumping threads.
And then when you when you need a Palworld card you don't have you can go to to the trading section and get the cards your missing asap. Happy badge hunting!
