Pal Metal Armor Schematic 4 in only one location?

I'm trying to collect all Legendary Equipment and I'm currently looking for the Legendary Pal Metal Armor (I already have the Epic one) and I've read that it only appears in Astral Mountains.

Is there a chance that I can find it in Sakurajima as well or are they only spawning in Astral Mountains?

legendary schematics are mostly limited to the pal that drops them, only other place you might have a chance is the big chest on oil rig.

each place has a 'tier' of items. in the starting area/s you're likely only find cloth or pelt variants/schematics of armor. in the lava area you're more likely to find heat/cold resistant metal schematics while in an area like the oil rig you're only going to find plasteel and rare weapon variant schematics (like multi guided missile launcher or gatling gun). since they're all focused on what part of the game you're currently in, means you wont find anything under that tier. your best bet is looking up whatever pal drops it. most of the boss pals have legendary drops that are like 1-3%. for example, jetragon has a 1% chance of giving you a legendary rocket launcher schematic after killing or capturing it. dungeon boss chests are also a good idea, ive gotten a few legendary schematics that ive used from them.

tldr: go try your luck from bosses that drop the legendary schematic you're looking for or go to the area that you think it should drop at (probably frozen place or sakurajima) dungeon boss chests included. hope i helped ive been playing this game too much

I searched for it but even in the Palworld Wiki, there was no Alpha Boss mentioned and that you can only find it in chests. Got almost every Legendary Item already.

I haven't memorized the armors like the weapons. But I bet there is a world boss that drops it. Still going to be a low chance, like 1% -3% , but still better odds than finding it in a chess.

I remember building a makeshift base and get all pals to farm the boss.

Pal metal armor (heat resist) = Necromus
Pal metal armor (cold resist) = Paladius
Pal metal Helmet = Frostallion

There is no pal that specifically drops the legendary pal metal armor schematic. The only way to obtain it is indeed by cycling through the astral mountain dungeons. However the chance of getting a legendary schematic, let alone specifically the regular pal metal armor schematic, is very rare and will take you a lot of time. If you were to try this, a useful tip is to increase the day and night speed to make dungeons respawn faster.
