Vixy Pal Spheres

I heard the higher Vixy's level, the better the type of sphere. But I have a level 53 vixy, and still just getting regular Pal Spheres. Shouldn't it be Ultras at least?

Vixy's level is irrelevant. It's the partner skill level that matters. You need to catch more vixys and condense them. I believe they can only dig up to hyper spheres at 4 stars.

Pal spheres that is dug up by Vixy, at max stars, is only the following,

1.) Blue palspheres, common and you will get tons of these, any star Vixy can dig this

2.) Green palspheres, uncommon but you will get them, 1 star and above will dig this up

3.) Yellow palspheres, rare, you will get this but at very low quantity, I think 3 and above star will get this.

4.) Red palspheres, rarest of what Vixy can dig up, very rare, chances you might start making it instead of waiting for Vixy to dig up, max 4 star Vixy will dig this out

personally, I believe vixies are just a waste of time and base slots(always), but to each their own.

They're nice for a passive source of spheres, but it's a very slow trickle for how many spheres you'll actually end up needing.

Even after having built Vixy up to 3 stars, sure, she digs up slightly rarer spheres, but not at a fast enough rate to be worthwhile on their own. You'll still have to build your own supply.

At best she's good in the early game so that you don't have to spend any other resources to get basic Pal Spheres. Once basic pal spheres fall off, she's pretty mediocre to farm with.
Still cute though, so if you like having a cute critter in your base, go nuts.

Vixy's passive is interesting if you want to farm for basic Pal Spheres.
I wouldn't say that's only a early game thing, since even late game they might be handy, since you have a farm of those spheres, and can use them to catch low level Pals to butcher for materials.

Also, I think they also give you bones sometimes, and arrows for imbuing, in case you want to inflict stats on opponents.

Edit: Ah yeah, you can also use a sphere launcher to keep throwing pal spheres at low level pals and see how many you can catch.
It's just a stupid arcade.
