If you're looking for automation/logistics look elsewhere.
This is the "jack of all trades/mix & mash" meme game of survival-crafting, base building, & monster collecting with some barebone fps mechanics thrown on top.
its not factorio if you are asking, really basic and nothing complex here. if you like monster catching and guns, this is a fine game atm but late game is super ultra grindy.
Palworld is a pretty good survival sandbox, but the automation side of things is really basic. For example there is currently no way to automatically transfer things between bases. You have to micromanage that aspect and various other things.
I dunno if you like tower defense games, but if you do this game is worth looking at because it combines automation and TD mechanics: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2182630/Mob_Factory/
This is your personal intrpretation.
Early access mean "not in finished state" which mean devs are planning to add more stuff on the BASE (no dlc) game before the full release and the base game can range from little and not close to release up to almost finished. Many Early Access games are more in finished state that you will ever see in a full Electronic Arts or Ubisoft released game.
Let me add the missing word for you. The word you left out when you quoted me.
"Some."
Got that? *Some* games aren't remotely ready to play in Early Access.
What Early Access means depends on the developer. It's not like Steam enforces standards for what's permitted for Early Access. It varies significantly from game to game.
I'm fully aware that some games are well worth playing in Early Access. I *said* that, which you didn't bother to read.
Which is why I started the thread, to find out what "Early Access" really meant specifically in the case of Palworld. Since there's really no way of knowing where a specific game falls without asking current players.
