Pals at base wont mine copper nodes
So you throw out the pals and they just run around and dint mine the nodes. You pick them up, put them down on the node, says copper node mining, and they run past all the copper nodes and go right for the stone building lol. I feel like the base portion of the game got worse.

I also feel like it got worse. I like eing ale to throw a pal sphere far to make my Pal do a certain task far away from me. Now I have to get close to the task

Usually it's a pathing issue. Pals take the shortest route to the primary task that they have ordered. For example, Lyleen will move around an assembly line to get to a berry plantation. If the plantation is directly in the middle of the assembly line, she will move back and fourth until the shortest path is met. This will result in her abandoning her task if she gets stuck in a loop.

Edit: If a stone pit is closer than an ore pit, it will default to the shortest path to the primary task, which would be stone in your case.

na i think jobs have different priorities and even the mining/cutting job has different priority, ive watched my pals always harvest the trees or mining nodes before using the infinite node.

for example: my main base uses anubis as haulers but my base has natural stone mines and infinite stone mine, they usually mine the natural stone mine, then haul then finally mine the infinite stone mine

i think it could be a case of pal not having enough levels to mine the copper which is at least mining lv 2? im not too sure until op replies what pal were they using.

It could be anything at this point lol that last patch did alot of damage to pathing. Come to think about it, my Anubis was doing the same thing. I wanted him on coal and he just ran over to stone. My solution: Complete overkill! 3 Anubis on every node. No more problems :mhwgood:
When in doubt? Breed more Anubis.

All I'm saying is if you pick up a pal and throw it down for a job, it should do that job and not run to the other side of the base for a different job lol. Cmon devs i believe in you!
