Its passive makes it so Crude Oil in the inventory weight less, which is pretty useless, since with how scarce it is to farm Crude Oil, you'll never have the inventory full of it, unless maybe on multiplayer dedicated servers.
Literally has to reserve a base for one or two of them, or destroy some of your bases to make them into oil rigs just for that damn crude oil farm.
It's like Palworld turned into a heavy hardware demanding idle rpg.
I mostly just combined my breeding farm base with an oil rig base.
There's a spot in the volcano west beach with 3 oil wells near enough to each other to be covered in one base.
I then built an upper floor where the farms and breeding farms and Pal utilities go. Meanwhile the ground floor is for the oil extractors.
So, combining the two bases allows me to free up my 3rd base for building an arena for Raid bosses.
