Sounds like you had a very enjoyable experience for a few months. It isn't a Live Service MMO. They won't be pumping out updates and expansions on a routine release.
They are crafting a game and releasing updates as pieces of the game are finished.
You'll continue to see updates until the game gets a Full Release, and I'd venture to guess there's a strong possibility for more updates after that point.
But its cooking, so enjoy the sips as they come or wait it out until dinners released.
Ah I gotcha. Yeah it was very fun while it lasted, was hoping that they would keep releasing new major updates like PvP arenas, raid bosses, etc. gradually along the way, but I guess it's gonna take a lot longer for all that to be pushed out. I guess we just keep on waiting then.
Yeah we did it on the hardest difficulty already, I think we'll just be waiting until they release more content in the future.
As for when and what, that is unknown. There was a roadmap released a few months ago that gives a general idea of what to expect. The game's store page also explains how the developers plan to expand the game during early access.
To be clear: Palworld is not a live service game. Do not expect regular patches beyond occasional bugfixes.
If you have accomplished your goals then you've beaten the game for now. Feel free to return later when the next major update comes out.
Awesome, I look forward to the full release in the future.
