I know you can find XL Training Manuals in chests on the northern part of the map and some dungeon. Mimogs also drop them. Is there any other way of getting them?

Also, I've verified that a single XL training manual brings a level 1 pal to level 32, but does anybody know how many it would take to bring a level 1 pal to a level 55 pal?

I've seen other people recommend breeding mimogs and mass-butchering them in the pal disassembler. Infinite money and exp farm for the mere cost of cake.

Or set x3 pals as parameter , use a katress has partner for passive ,a rocket launcher for one shoot the 3 mimics, and search for mimics on the beach below sakura island using a fast jetragon. et voila : lots of dog coins , XL training and gold.

Saw this and immediately started grinding down my extra mimogs from breeding. It's a real shame that the Katress ability doesn't extend to mass-butchering pals but honestly crazy how good their drops are even at low odds.

I was just wondering what I'd do with all my breeding farms...

I watched a guy take a pal from 1 to 55 in seconds with training manuals. I don't remember how many he used. It was between 3 and 5 I believe. He did click it pretty fast so it may have been a bit more, but not by tons if it was.

Another thing someone pointed out is you can use Tombat to help you hunt for the mimogs, with his echo location or whatever his partner skill is actually called. I've also heard people say just patrol around the lava split area somewhat near Verdash. Because the Mimogs have a tendency to spawn in the lava making them easier to notice because of the damage ticks.

I've not bothered with it. I have my four accessory slots unlocked, I'm ok with grinding the elixirs for the most part. Till then, I'll save my coins for when I need IV fruits once I get my army fully built and lvled.

I got a bunch from doing Bellanoir Libero raids... before Sakurajima, that is. Definitely not the most efficient approach any more. But you can get some pretty incredible loot pretty easily if you've got a base set up exclusively for fighting raid bosses.

As long as you're on a flying mount, the fire won't bother you. You can safely "land" to scoop up the loot without bursting into flames.

don't forget the loot bonus from pasive, and the lava kills the mimics, you have to kill them quickly

interesting, I hadn't tested it yet but the character still takes damage from lava even if the mount is immune, lol , oups , but at least he doesn't die like the katress because of the lava

I go up and down the other lava area (the split near verdash) and you'll still see mimog burning for some reason even though it's fine to stand in this area.

Unless this is the last thing you have to do, you really only need to scoop a M and F.

I wonder if the set of the 3 rings of fire resistance would work to go into lava, in theory it would reduce fire dmg by 90%

ive bred mimogs for slaughter - they need to be lvl 20 to drop the XL manual. higher levels only seem to yield more gold per butcher. Also, in the wild, building walls around them (before antagonizing) and placing a camp fire in one of the corners works well if they are beyond your level.

Ahh, that explains the inconsistency. Alpha babies always drop the full loot - ~24k, XL, Ancient Parts, and a precious claw

Luckily all you have to do is TP to sakura island and blast a few enemies.
