Clean install?
I dont know what I did to screw up my install but nothing I do seems to get the game to boot up anymore. Mods I had installed are all gone, uninstalled the game and installed on another drive, verify integrity. Even with a fresh install I get the same crash at startup with not alot of info on the crashlog. All it gives me is palworld-win64-shipping over and over with the end saying kernal32 and ntdll. What do I need to delete to get back to a fresh install? Some suggestions were to add the palworld-win64 file to the firewall and I did that along with the whole folder.

Hard to say, but someone reporting something similar found that there anti-virus, AVG, was deleting the palworld-win64-shipping.exe file from the Palworld install. A quick test would be to make an exception (or just disable the anti-virus just for the 30 seconds it takes to try and start the game). If this fixes the problem, you need the exception, or better yet, better anti-virus software. I use Windows Defender, not the best, but doesn't mess with Palworld.

I havent had any issues with my antivirus catching the game though, it was only one of the recommendations with someone who had a similar issue. Installed it again on another drive and Im going to just turn off my antivirus entirely to test that part out. Something seriously messed up somewhere lol.

Ok, now it just works. even have my antivirus back on. I have no idea what I did other than wipe out anything that had to do with Palworld I could find and installed it on my main OS drive.

I didnt even get to a loading screen, instant crash a few seconds after hitting play. Whatever I guess, game is finally booting up and Im testing the boot with every mod I install and its still good.

I'm looking for the same issue fix. Were you able to fix it?

My problem might be a different issue, im not sure. I forgot about the mods I had installed on curseforge and one of those mods was creating issues at startup. Do you have any mods installed?

Just an idea, don't know if it actually helps but in:
AppData\Local\Pal\Saved\Config\
There are lots of file with saved configurations, you can try to remove them and relaunch the game and see if it works.
They should regenerate with default value at the first boot, just to see if for some reason there are faulty values that are crashing the game on load.

Edit: You could even remove the entire "Pal" folder just to be 100% sure everything is fine there. Just make a copy somewhere of your worlds save files first.

if you have downloaded UE4SS before, try deleting xinput1_3.dll in \Palword\Pal\Binaries\Win64. worked for me

Personally, I didnt have an xinput dll file anywhere. What may have really messed me over is if when I reinstalled on a new drive, CurseForge found the game and applied the mods again.
