Monitor stand bug
It doesnt always detect every building , even if they have something in Q or not , all accessible path ..

My breeding base .. doesnt detect 3 of the 8 ... so i can assign any to them and have to do it manually all over again ...

This new base with a simple floor and nothing else doesnt have the electric kitchen and electric furnace option .. and they are built lol ..

Monitoring stand needs to be looked at again ... it should be the lifeline of the base if it actually worked 100% ....but it doesnt .. at least for me

Its a pathing issue. If the building isn't appearing then you need to adjust your building space.

You can test this: Place a workbench and obscure its crafting zone and place another one that is accessible. Do this outside because there are a lot of quirks like low ceilings that can obscure a worksite.

Sometimes it appears but pals can't be assigned to it, but sometimes it disappears. Hopefully a better indicator is implemented in the future, but it's certainly better than when we had no indicator!

Like i said this happen on a flat surface , both foundation and no foundation at all .. its also random , some work , some dont .. so pathing is NOT an issue at all

There is no roof , no building on both , only difference is one has foundation layed out other one purely on the ground .. yet both have some issue with monitoring stand detecting what can be assigned ..

Even if your suggestion would work .. im asking for it to be looked at because it should be the main issue solver for a lot of problems ..

If you want it looked at, use the report feature or go to the Palworld discord where they have dedicated staff and more eyes. This place is more for discussing everything, including solutions to problems you present.

Can you post a screenshot? I've placed mining facilities on flat ground and due to the terrain it was unpathable.

I did report it to proper channels ..

This is flat , no foundation , yet i cant asssign pals to it ... monitoring stand issues ;)

I'm not saying it's not, but you're so sure it's a monitoring stand issue when you've built in a bizarre location. I've built there and experienced quirks so I covered the entire bottom in foundation.

Take the offending structures, put foundation underneath and then try one more time. If it works it's a pathing issue and still one that needs addressing because that spot is really cool. If it doesn't then you're much more likely right that it's a monitor stand issue.

With that said, every time this exact issue happened for me, tweaking the location of the offending structure 100% cleared my issues. To reiterate, I'm confident there's a way you can keep all of your breeding pens running if you fiddle around.
