Anyone know whats happening?

I tried downloading two mods like a already full map and then the game wont even load, it just says "unreal shimloader has crashed" gives me reasonings and stops the game, i mean i dont even get a menu, just still on steam page but i cant do anything about it
I've watched videos on it but none of them have this exact problem??

It is an Early Access game. Things can change faster than Modders and mod helpers will be able to keep up for a while. Video tutorials and mods alike will become outdated quick.

Not to say you cannot mod right now, but unless a mod is listed as having a fresh update, I would install with doubts. Checking the Mod updated date is very important right now.

Thing about that is even if i dont use mods, the same thing happens.

If you installed a mod using a mod loader, like CurseForge, it also installs a few other files to help the mod load. You need to uninstall these extra files too.

I juts tried what the video said, and there were no mods, so apparently its not a mod problem just a conveniently timed shim loader problem that occured right after i downloaded mods

Did you verify the files after you deleted your broken mods?

Check how old that video is. The framework used for Palworld modding has changed dramatically in the last few months. You could be using outdated information that'll ruin your game. Or, to be more concise, don't trust guides. Find some recently updated mods, backtrack their install process, and learn how to install for yourself.
