Fight Axel and Orserk at lvl40?

Am I supposed to beat those guys at level 40. I tried it and i felt like i need 5 more levels at minimum.

My rule of thumb is never fight anything above you own character level. This isn't just a personal preference, the game codes in fight settings (like attack and defense) based on your level compared to the pals level.

Now this being said, I found a source saying these are level 40, so yes, you should be able to. I personally found these to be much harder than Zoe and Grizzbolt (level 10) and Lily and Lyleen (level 25). So my rule of thumb is more about the maximum you should attempt, I typically only fight and tame stuff that is below my character level. Also if you bring pals into the fight, those also need to be at or above the boss level you are fighting.

BTW, they recently changed levels on some of the alphas, hopefully they didn't change the levels of any tower bosses though, but they did add one tower boss.

Use typing advantage, ensure you're pushing your weapons to their limits (Use schematics to advance into assault rifle early etc.) and maintain awareness on the boss's attacks towards you and your pal.

Beyond that, simply leveling more will help a lot thanks to what Wildbill mentioned.

Also don't forget that you can stack bonuses, like having four Gobfins with Vanguard, to maximize your DPS to be able to kill the boss within the time limit.

Use Anubis for this fight. they are weak to ground element pals. Also fighting with anubis will apply ground damage on your weapon.
