and if I try to breed them with pals??? Not that I will. I don't wanna go to hell. xD
Best is just capture the Smuggler humans, because if you capture them, you can get a lot of gold, then butcher them for even more gold.
Or keep smugglers and merchants as your base shopkeepers so you don't ever need to travel to buy their goods.
You might capture them for cosmetic purposes (build a "human village" base just have a nice little town for fun), out of spite ("how DARE you challenge me? You think you're a better Pal Tamer, huh? Well, I'll capture your Pal AND you! Hah!"), or just for kicks.
If you were lucky enough to make use of the boss capture bug way back in the day, you can use bosses for breeding, though that's their Pals and not the humans themselves. Humans aren't given genders, so it doesn't work and evenif it did that kinda seems.... off.... Devs were probably afraid if they made that a thing it could affect the game's rating.
If humans can power the defensive base armaments (mounted crossbow, machine gun, rocket launcher) you COULD make a cool human military base, but again, that's more or less cosmetic.
Personally, I'd like to see hirable NPC guards or companions at some point (maybe with their own Pals? If could create parties with NPCs and give them our well-trained/leveled Pals to use, that could be awesome, especially for solo players), but we'll have to see.
Don't tell me none of you haven't thought of this either.
