Yeah. I hate that you have to summon them at a base. Would have been better if there were multiple locations around the map you could just take slabs to.

If you have a spare base slot you can use it as a battleground to fight the raid bosses there. The pals can still be brought to the box to fight unified with less collateral damage.

Yeah ill do that... It was my first time, more like a test. Im obviusly not ok to kill it.

At least your first summon wasn't Ryu like mine was. It completely demolished my 3rd base. Only a few walls and pal beds survived. Was a nightmare.

Yep...that thing is great at leveling bases.

I hope you're on a private server or solo because then you can increase the number of bases and have one exclusively for fighting raid bosses.

Two times I've tried building cover and defensive walls to make the first fight against a raid boss I've not seen yet go better, both times they've been demolished by the boss AND too much crap happened for me to even tell where the boss was most of the time, even less figure out how to use cover effectively.

Might be worth having walls around the palbox so you can switch out KO'd pals without getting shot, perhaps? I'll try that next time.

My palbox was inside a stone house, the raid boss created a hole and wiped the box. I belive it can destroy anything, but i havent try the metal structures.

It's a mistake placing it on foundations, because if any of the foundations below it gets destroyed, it doesn't have enough support (the entire spawn area cube must be supported) and instantly breaks. And palboxes have the most HP out of any craftable thing.

So you're better of placing them on the ground and only surrounding them with Defensive Walls (can be placed without foundations), maybe behind natural cover if available.
