Just bad luck with legendary blueprints from new sakurajima update?

I have a private server (Gportal) with little setting changes. And I've been looking for legendary blueprints since day one of the Sakurajima update. I run the "oil rig" every hour of every day (whenever I have time), empty all the chests and the one golden chest. But I don't get any legendary blueprints. I also run all the caves on the new island, but nothing either. I now have plenty of green (60-70) to blue blueprints (25-35), unfortunately only 5 purple and no golden blueprints of this new weapons and armors. Am I just unlucky? But I was able to make almost 70 electric incubators because I got 1-3 of these antique cores per run.

The legendary schematics have an exceedingly low drop rate. It's far less than 1%. It's something like 0.0025 percent or something like that. Maybe it's only 0.025%. Either way, that's their drop rate from Sakurajima dungeons and the oil rig.

I think it's a shame that i can't adjust it a bit. I would like to have at least a 1-3% chance, but so far I have 0.00000%

I've not really messed aound on the oil rig too much. I've gone there a couple times, but was not really able to deal with it.

But, there is a save scumming trick a lot of people use to help their odds. I'd look that up if you really want them. Me, I'm fine with the grind, but it is ridiculous to be that low, admittedly.

I have to live with it. Because I don't want to do glitches, cheats or other disadvantageous things just to make the game easier. Then I'll just run the Oil Rig and the Caves 2000000 times.

having same issue watching hubby play 5 mins and he gets legendary drops constantly thats all he gets me.. just bought my license with the updater and invested in the soundtrack.. i get no metor s just supply drops. and no legendary and very few dungons. killing luckies whit the ring of mercy on. now that could be lag on my part.. i love the game and have alot of postitives to say aobut it i really do i love the hard work you can tell has gone into this the new pals are amazing and fun. the oil extractor sucks and is too costly the new metal is too costly . and something is messed up with breedng. the pals are better at base movement .. put out your traffic cones!!!! the decorations are important!! i have had a time or 2 i was aoubt to give up and was very very upset.. and still my hubby gets all the luck but you knwo what i am haivng a blast..! sorry ffor the spelling haveing a few eye issues atm.

Not quite. That's their drop weight, or the chance of rolling them for each "slot" in the drop table. The big oil rig chests have like 8-10 slots so the drop chance per chest is much higher than the drop weight. It's still very low but not that abysmal.

I did the Oil Rig a few times trying to get blueprints... but when I looked up the drop odds, I realised there is no way in hell I wanted to bother even trying any more, since I had nothing left to even use them on..... and the Legendary Rocket Launcher I got from Jetragon is already better than all the Sakurajima weapons anyway.

I have to disagree. The 4x missile launcher is better. It tracks targets and the legendary version fires 4x 8850 damage missiles. That's what I read from the stats in the list. And I would really like to have that one. Also the better armor. Nothing is better than the new weapons from the Sakurajima update.

RNG is the enemy of gamers. grinding the same content over and over until you get lucky isn't new content, its just the same thing, you're just told to do it a hundred times because "rng". Rng isn't gameplay, its an excuse to extend the life of a game.

download the mod that increases legendary blue print drop rate to 100%.

No, no mods, I want to keep the original game and only use/set the settings of the original game. And as I see it, most Palworld mods are only suitable for single player, not for servers. Most mods kill games like this.

Everyone can do what they want. I enjoy the game as it is, even if the developers probably don't seem to care that it's frustrating at times. Some mods don't run on servers (it says in the mods), for example this mod "better legendary drop rate". But I've now completed 2 floors of electric incubators, which means about 100 x 5 ancient cores (drop rate = 1-3 cores per run on Oil Rig). And I only got double drop rate on enemy kills, and noticed that it doesn't affect the chests, since the loot stayed the same. And I continue to play without mods.

According to Palworld Database, the chances of the legendary blueprints indeed vary from a 0.1159% chance, all the way to a 0.0046% chance.

Also, as it appears, legendary blueprints are only given by the Oil rig's gold chest, not the smaller ones. Likewise, schematics for the Quad Missile Launcher can only be acquired from it as well, rather than from both it and dungeons.

Nope, i have found a Quad Missile Launcher Bluprint non-Color and green from purple chest in the new Dungeons and Oil Rig. And according to videos on YouTube, some have also found legendary blueprints in Purple Chests on the Oil Rig.

3 days later, there's a run on the oil rig every hour, all the days. But no legendary drops, not even purple ones (epic). Something's not right, dear developers of Palworld! Open all chests on every run too, but nothing.
