Palworld

View Stats:
The Marketplace (NOT RESPONDING ANYMORE.)
An entire market of goods sold by people in palworld.
They don't have to be in your server. Its everyone in your region/country You can sell your items for 4k gold, (As an example,) but there would be a 5% listing fee. (So if you sell an item, any server; even singleplayer servers can see it for a purchase.

You must visit a structure that is a market with an npc in it that can list your items on the market.

Once someone buys your items, you get how much gold you sold it for (Obviously.)

Now if someone sells pal armor for 1 gold, they cant.
There is a minimum price they can sell it for which is the average. (Maybe like 30k per ingot?)

You can also sell pals. (The higher its Ivs, passives, and buffs, the higher the minimum price would be.)

When you buy an item, you trade your gold for that item you want to buy. There would be are you sure you want to buy?" Screen before you buy the item.

Palworld is Palworld. I suggest you first learn what this game is all about and how it plays before you make anymore horrid suggestions that go against the creative and solid foundation the games built.

Stop trying to make it into a live service MMO, stop trying to make this Pokemon, it is clear you really really wanna be the creative type, take a class. Seriously, most basic video game classes teach you the correct way to think about adding and building your game. Your ideas often go against guiding principals that make games fun and easy to understand for a varied of play styles.

This isn't like Lego where you can just toss any crazy idea out there and it could work.

There are complex design ideologies that are at play, and your ideas often go against core mechanics that make this game fun and seem to try and attempt to make it into some other video game you know and enjoy.

Stop.

Oh, and a final thought, maybe stop spamming so many responses. Just like...make a full response? Quoting the same persons messages as you make two to back posts looks awfully nooby.

Stop.trying.to.make.this.another.game.
How am i trying to make this another game? Like its only like one new thing in the game.
Final thought is something i do understand.
Yeah ive done that without realizing you can do double quotes.

Also Im just trying to find an idea people can agree on. With people steering some out.

Infact, this idea is not attempting to make this like Pokemon for sure.

Also, What i want to say here is that your responses are also to complex.
Maybe simplify it?

I mean like i do get your point.

Someone can sell a power lotus and hack it so that a virus gets in your computer. But I am very sure that Palworld knows that they need an anti-cheat engine to stop those bypassses.

Hacking goes way beyond just viruses.

So a hacker could steal all the pals for sale in a globally accessible system. They could place pals in there that they spawned in using admin commands and sell them. Really, pretty much anyone could do that.

You can think of all the ways that an idea could go wrong before posting. Or like you did just now, post it and then let everyone shoot holes in it. After you see it isn't going to work, the smart thing to do is not to keep defending the flawed idea. The smart thing to do is modify the idea until it actually has a decent chance to work. For this idea, you definitely need to remove the "global / worldwide" part of it.

Nope, the onus is on you. You brought an idea to the public, you need to defend it. If you cannot understand when people point out why your ideas don't work you should not come to the public to seek out their opinions..

Myself and all the others do not owe it to you to explain the flaws in your ideas in a way you can grasp. As I have said before if things get confusing and you cannot understand people and you do not have the words to defend an idea with flaws you should recognize you weren't ready to come to a public forum for discussion.

Your making it more complicated. I cant relax in my game because i have to worry about negative comments and only negative comments that are explained in a very complicated way.

Your just pushing the fact that i did something wrong way to harshly.

If i remove the global / worldwide part of it, that would just be trading with players instead.

So actually, it should be region wide

This Land Is My Land does almost exactly this, and I'm surprised more games don't do it. Not only this, but if a player dies on another server the loot they dropped appears in your world too. Very clever. All the fun of multiplayer in a single-player game! I must play that game again.
Thats not how it works.
Loot from another player that died doesn't show up in your world what are you talking about?

Maybe I mistook the message that popped up, as the name given usually resembled another player name. I'll check that out, as it's been a while.

I know that they can do that, but that will just ruin the fun.
Like actually getting it is more fun than using admin commands.
Same thing that goes with the arena.

You know what, if i suggested how the Arena mode would work, legitimately it will be shot at instantly with sayings that's its flawed.
Because: People can just use admin commands to get op pals.

People DO use commands or mods to get OP or perfect pals. You might not see the fun or value in it, but they do. It is for that very reason I do not honestly expect the game will ever see cross-server arenas or PVP. Who honestly wants to compete against people from a different or unfair set of advantages?

It's not complex, you're just too simple. Knock off the tone policing and don't come back until you're an adult.

In reality it would be trading with hackers region wide. What game would want that? And really, what players would want to trade with hackers? Not me.
