In order to get the Voice of Resentment, do they need to be 5 different Pal Species or can we level up the same species of Pal 5 times and get the achievement?

I don’t think it matters.

I got the achievement by maxing 2 Warsects, 2 Azurobes, and 1 Maraith so you could probably get it by maxing 5 of the same species.

Specifically, you just need 5 individual pals at max rank.

Nope, You can do five pals of the same species. I can confirm. Well, Almost confirm now that I think about it. I guess I can't. But, I'm pretty sure it's just five pals generally and it doesn't matter.
