That sounds good but the only problem with that might be terrain constraints.
Unless it’s in a completely flat area, how would it manage different heights?
But will say, remember that you can deconstruct bases in the map menu, so if you want to move to a new location, use that and then place down everything again. Kinda hard for a copy mechanic to work when every area has different elevation or water and such
Oh you still have to place them yourself, they dont auto transfer, it just gives you a window that says "build furnace" and then you place it wherever you want in the new location :)
Grappling.
Gun.
It takes a lot less effort than you think. You're also a fool if you're not carrying a HGG 100% of the time. It's just that useful.
its called "Integrate storage warehouses for all camps"
Edit: Thanks for the points, ya dip.
I have to be honest here: I tried using a grappling gun for a while, then put it away because I literally could not find a single use for it, and it was annoying me by taking up a weapon slot. BUT I play the game modded, so my game experience may be different from yours.
Still, if it can move you about easily when overencumbered then I guess it has a purpose.
If you tried it out in previous patches, I can definitely understand getting that impression from it, it was unwieldy and its range was honestly too short to be useful. They've fixed it significantly in the big update so now it has a good range and you're not always getting stuck on things. Makes dismantling a base pretty quick and easy when I can just load everything into my bag and whisk myself over to the pal box to transfer everything to storage in another.
The HGG also has a niche use as a "boost" option on foot. Its pretty dangerous to ride a mount at the oil rig, but if you have your HGG, you can aim it at the floor ahead of you and glide at the tip of the arc to go flying towards your next chests.
