Schematic drop locations?

Were can I get Schematic for Musket, single-shot rifle, shotguns, Assault rifle, and all weapons past level 50, and armors past level 47? I swear done over 50 level 42, 45, and 52 dungeons now and haven't seen a single Schematic drop in any of them I guess safe to assume high level dungeons don't drop schematic so were do they drop from? Are they just stupidly rare with a 1% drop rate or something?

Many of them drop from world bosses and alphas. The single shot rifle can drop from Verdash. The musket can drop from Quivern. The handgun from Becon. The double barrel from Velet. Pump action from Suzaku. Assault Rifle form Blazamut. Those are the one I know off the top of my head.

They are low drop rates though. Something like 1 to 3%. I've probably killed over 100 Becons, and I've not found my handgun yet.

rocket launcher from jet dragon, and the pal armor from frostallion as for the droprate yes it's low but can be compensated for by turning up the pal rate to 3. Keep in mind that makes bosses harder as you have to fight 3 at once but it's the fastest way to get the schematics.

Another way to up your chances of getting is to catch the bosses instead of kill them. When you capture it, that's a chance to get the schematic. Then if you butcher it, that's another chance for it to drop the schematic. So every captured alpha is two chances to get them.

Frostallion drops the Pal metal helm, not the armor. The cold or heat resist Pal metal armor comes from Paladius and Necromus

I think Supply Drops can drop Legendary Schematics as well. Best place to wait for drop events is on top of the Moon Tower on Sakurajima, if you're high-enough level. Just sit there and let the game idle for a few hours when you have something else to do and you can eventually have up to two events (either meteors or supplies or one of each) at once. I know it goes against much of the interent to have more than one drop event concurrently existing (supposedly the next won't happen until the first is cleared), but I've experienced it multiple times now from that location.

And, it is my understanding they can be found in dungeon chests in particular, and chests generally, but I think they have an even lower drop rate than they do from bosses.
