high level boss spawns in base

mid-late 20's needing coal i decided to put my second between a few clumps i found on that green island north of the Katress dungeon its got level 29 caves and low level 20 mossandas and bees.

now when travel to that base or respawn there quite often there is a level 40 elite elizabee and a horde of bees that all go kamikaze the whole place is on fire all pals dead and i can take maybe a percent or two off her health.

just died int he tower in the frosty areas respawned naked with one of these massacres going on and i of course get one shot before getting control of my character leading to a fun death cycle.

this seems a tad silly? its not a raid why does a almost twice the level of the area elite boss spawn in my base when i travel to it? and any way to avoid this sort of thing?

If you are playing single-player there's at least one mod that stops wild pals spawning in your base(s). It's called, appropriately, "No more wild pals on your base" and it's Palworld v0.3.1 ready, but hopefully it works on 3.2 as well. You can find it on Curseforge.

Nah, your base happened to be in the location where it is a rare event of a Pal nest spawning with eggs of their kind and other collectible stuff nearby

That rare pal nest spawn will spawn in certain areas and will spawn inside the base radius, if your base happens to be in one of those area, well…. have fun dealing with it

You should be able to avoid this if you reload your saved game again, exception is in a dedicated or official server

Or check around and find an alternative area instead

this happened last game i was getting a level 40 elite bee spawn a nest in my base, its why i restarted here, this base is on the noob starter island just down and off to the right of the path as you start down the hill , it is saying quite clearly a wild pal raid is coming i see the question marks appear and the tide comes.

See, this is why I build bases in isolated locations exclusively accessible via flying pals.
If you build a base up on top of a small plateau, or as I discovered two days ago, on that huge cyclindrical structure in the Astral Mountains, then raid events are meaningless as the enemy simply cannot reach you. You can even just ignore them until they despawn. And I learnt that due to the number of times I've had to go AFK because I can't pause the game and I don't trust the game to be able to reload without crashing if I close it too often.

My advice: Scrap your base and rebuild somewhere more defensible.

Pals don't actually spawn in your base. They spawn outside of it and wander in. If you put up defensive wall, it will keep them out.

it did i picked that spot because its a one way in quick and easy to wall off, it wont matter theres an event that spawns a nest and a 40 elite there

yes its two isles to the right of her spot. 245.-156 its about half way between warsect and Jormuntide , between the right hand pair of the southern level 29 caves.
Long way due north of Katress in the verdant brook. its one of those big dirt build base here locations , it has a lake to its south and east. the one entrance is the north and its west is a cliff top pls cant climb. 3 big coal mines surround it.

I just experienced something similar; my base is on the starter isle, just down the path from the fast travel statue (I can see it clearly up the hill). At night, a level 55 Bushi just popped in suddenly in front of me (I was inside the base) and began laying waste to my camp of teen-aged pals. Walls or no, I'm level 19 on the starter island; why is a level 55 anything attacking?

Oh yeah I found like a direhowl army with an alpha as the leader next to the base.
