Rename pals

you can. I have several named pals. When you go into the pal info screen (x on the controller, not sure on keyboard) next to their name is an edit option.

I didn't know this, i want to find a shiny Pal and name them Chocobi like that streamer on that one video youtube keeps recommending me.

My bases tend to be mostly populated by Humans, Lovanders and Anubis... most of which don't have special names. I name a few of them though. And for no particular reason I prefer female Pals... usually.

I've got a Foxparks named Burn Daisy who is a bit of an institution and I remake her on almost every playthrough. Female gender, 100 IVs, max-souled, max-tier. She is my little crafter of cakes and ingots, and I could trade her in for a better fire type, but I don't want to. I just upped her work speed to around 800 or somesuch through CE so she can craft at insane speeds. I think by now she has crafted over 10000 ingots of various types.

I've got a Syndicate Crusher named Big Dave... because he is Big and he is Dave. Big Dave smacks things with his gun. He probably ran out of ammo ages ago but refuses to put the gun down. I also caught him because 100 IVs. He isn't very strong because he doesn't do anything but smack with his gun, but he makes up for it with enthusiasm.

I've also got two Wandering Traders named Nigel (green) and Reggie (red). They sell me stuff. I don't make them fight. They're important though.

I've got a Shadowbeak named Edgelass. She is the night or somesuch... One of a long string of flying mounts, but I didn't exactly bench her like the others since she is my edgy griffin girl and I like her.

My land-mount of choice is my Rayhound named Flashy B!tch. I've remade her in a few playthroughs too, though since Sakurajima I've had to change the spelling to bypass the censors. Her name is literally spelt with an exclamation mark now.

I also used to carry around a shiny Lovander named Persephone and a shiny Katress named Ceridwen ... and I used them for tower bosses mostly. I've not bothered remaking them in my latest playthrough yet though.

Another one I lost from my first runthrough was my old Raid Ultra Bellanoir Libero... as in the actual raid-boss itself, rather than an egg-hatched one... named Big Bella Rotunda. Just FYI, the egg-hatched Bellanoirs are about the same size as the player, but the Raid Boss one is literally the same size she is when fought. She was big. Even bigger than Big Dave. I still haven't got her back yet, but I intend to soon.
