Still only 3 bases

I do not want to dismantle any bases it took long enough to get them how I want them. But because the new area is full of pals that just waste you in a few hits without the new armour it's just not a good place to be.
Plus the fact I'll have to dismantle everything and cart it over 5 pieces at a time because of the pathetic carry load and even with the aids via pets etc it's a poultry amount. esp when your taking 1000's of ores across. New area why not add the capacity for a 4th base seems a no brainer to me seeing as the 4th base is pretty much going to cater for oil fed by 20 electric pets .
Yes I can cloud over but once you remove a palbox stuff starts to despawn as I found out to my cost last time I tried to move in small loads (max carry capacity). 1 hoop I just aint prepared to jump through sorry to the faithful but it sux

It was extremely dickish of PP to lock the 4th behind a resource thats going to require every player to make a new base, especially considering the game went several MONTHS without updates and without a hint of what to expect. Damn near everyone already had 3 well established bases on whatever save/server they play on, they really should of put base 4 at level 21 or 22.

Never call anything well established in an early access game. There is your first mistake.

Both coal and sulfur were added in new mining sites that you can place in your base. The new way to do this is one base for pretty much everything. You could even do your oil in that one base does all, but most likely one base does almost everything, a second for the oil pump. That leaves a 3rd open for whatever.

And if you can, you can make up to 10 bases with the new settings.

No idea if the OP has a clue we just got an update that totally changes how many bases you need and how to set them up.

You can get oil from Kikits and Sootseers a long with nearly everything on the oil rig plus the chests on the oil rig.

There are other drops that give oil too. I got about 100 oil before even going to the new areas. I don't recall exactly where though, I think those new trash piles that you loot.

I definitely want to try and find that sootseer. Seems like it would only be found at night?

I've found fair bit from supply drops, can't have been that high level either.

Its night active ye. Also appears in some Sakurajima dungeons. Otherwise it only spawns in the northwestish area (area behind the shrine area so to say) of sakurajima.
