resize pals
Is there a way to de-gigantify pals? I just had a Lunaris hatch from an egg and was ecstatic because it was the first Lunaris (one of my favorites) on my new run as I paused the game for a few months and just started playing it again. The glee vanished as soon as I saw that it was a freakin alpha pal and in most cases I highly dislike them due to the sheer size that just makes many of my favorite pals look ridiculous. It was also a pacifist so I wouldn't have used it anyways but I'm still annoyed by the fact that I now not only have to watch for their traits when breeding but additionally a top Top Tier Pal can still get a one way trip to the mixer because it is born with elephantitis.

Please tell me there's a way to resize them or that the devs are working on a shrink ray or something like that. I can't be the only one who sees the big size in alpha pals and lucky pals as more of a minus than a plus, right? Right?

Also breeding can result in random traits. Use parents with the passives you want in order to have a better chance at getting pals with the passives that you desire.

Best of luck.

Yea I'm familiar with the basics of breeding from back then and even without looking at IV's or whatever they are called here it was a real pain. Now it seems like I have another thing I have to evade in order to be happy with the pal I'm aiming for. Are the gigantified pals randomized? I mean can two normal sized pals create a bigger one or do they only hatch from wild eggs or when one of their parents is a giant one?

It’s random. Normal sized parents can produce an alpha.

Some are just too dang big even at their normal size, I decided to try eikthyrdeer as mount for once but after trying a dungeon it was back to the sleek wolves.
