mimog ability

i have yet to see this unlock any chest at all.. i think it doesnt work.

It’s based on the level of its partner skill so you will have to raise its rank to be able to open the higher rarity chests.

Mine works, at lvl 1 ability it can open copper key chest

well i got it at lvl 41 and it wont even unlock a silver chest. hm.

Levels is not the same thing as rank. Rank add to the stars on your pal and can only be improved by condensing.

There seems to be some confusion based on this comment. A Pal's level does not impact the partner skill. Partner skills are the unique ability each pal has, which you can increase (star up) by using the Pal Essence Condenser.

So you will need to use other Mimogs to enhance a singular Mimog's partner skill, and you will see the ability to open higher quality chests.

You rank it up by using the condenser. They are talking about star rank and not levels, so I guess thats why people are getting confused. Star ranks upgrade their abilities + Stats.

You need to actually get it out of it's sphere then interact with the chest, it's pretty good at level 3.
