"Hard" Mode tower bosses

How in the absolute holiest of all ♥♥♥♥♥ do you beat these? I messed with some custom settings just to see what it was like. x5 damage from player, 0.1 damage to player, she 1 shot all my pals and beat me down because there's no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BLOCK FUNCTION and dodging interrupts the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reload animation. This is also an achievement that I now believe I'll never get. Please, I will deck the first person who says "git gud" because that's just a lame ass cop out from morons. Constructive criticism only, please.

I'm guessing even Zoe, the weakest of the bosses, is ultra tough?

Also, how do you access the hard modes?

clear the new tower boss to get the hardmode unlocked as for zoe she is not harder on hardmode. She and lily are the easiest all hardmode does is spawn some adds you have to deal with in addition to the boss.

That does raise a question? Why do I have to defeat Saya in order to do the hard versions of the two weakest bosses? I doubt Lily and Zoe on hard mode are as hard as Saya on easy mode.

Saya is brutal even on normal. I tried her on hard mode and she just kills everything.

yeah Saya is hard on normal it took all my shotgun, pistol and assult ammo just to get her down. Needless to say she had taken out my pals before that happened not looking forward to fighting her on hardmode, As for the question as to why you have to do the new tower to get hardmode I guess that is the way the developers programmed it,

Even the guy I watch that is just like untouchable, he said the hard tower bosses were no joke. And I watched him struggle a bit with the Oil rig.

lol yeah the rig is hell, especially since the end chest has more than one spawn location so it's different each time it resets.

At least I can maximize my defense and offense while minimizing those of others (and putting my regen rate to max) to make the Oil Rig far easier. A great way to get lots of crude oil. :D

did you feed them food for buffs?
did you use any of the new potions to further buff yourself and the pals?
are you using higher tier gear?
are you gliding and reloading or just dodging?

yes, all 4 star
yes, 20% attack food
yes, up to 7200 health
yes, wearing the new plasteel armor
yes, but the glider drops me when I try to reload
Multiple vanguard and stronghold strategist pals

Problem is, I can't do it alone. Pals just die, and they're all 4 star perfect 100 in all stats, etc. They just die in 3 hits.

Problem is, I can't do it alone. Pals just die, and they're all 4 star perfect 100 in all stats, etc. They just die in 3 hits.

The guy I saw do it, who did struggle a little but not too bad, mostly used the Gatling gun, he also used the homing missiles a fair bit. But yeah, he kept saying how you can't use your pals until you take out all the lasers or they just get fried.

I'd hazard that by the time you clear most of them out, you won't really need to pull out your pal anymore.

Tower bosses, not the oil rig

after beating all 6 hard bosses, I can say, Gobfins are a must, I used 4 of them at 4 stars each + a galeclaw for mobility and used legendary rocket and legendary pump shotty for every boss. It's also worth mentioning that I needed to turn damage from players up a good bit to make the damage gate, and I needed green plasteel armor and legendary pal metal helm to not die instantly. other than that, anything that can boost your survivability, food, accessories, shields, etc, will help.
