Crude Oil pump requires to much electricity!

Have 4 generators plus the boost item down plus all my electric pals are going at it for most the game days but the crude oil pump keeps turning on and off due to not enough electricity! It obviously should have enough but it doesn't then it resets the timer back at 0 thus I got 0 crude oil.

yeah i have experienced this too, 4 generators with all enhanced orzerks can barely get to 2% before they get hungry and there goes the power again... north korea electric grid simulator lol

I put down 16 of the old top generators and 16 orzerks with artistic cranking to keep them at full, and do keep them going during the day, but they still won't make it to morning to keep them going.

I'm more annoyed they patched out clipping through walls in dungeons now, I actually have to run the silly things that are about as much fun as watching old people bicker in debates.

need to use the new power generator, old one was useless, i have 2 generators that stays above 90% and running 3 oil pumps just fine

I have 1 of the new generators and 2 electric Helzephyrs (for 24/7 work) work it all the time with the bonus electric production building. They BARELY meet demand of one oil pump.

Which would be fine after grinding the electric organs for it... IF the oil pump wouldn't produce at tectonic speeds.

I get a supply drop of 35 oil in the same time this thing produces 5 oil. I can loot the oil rig for 50-100 oil in the time it makes 5 oil.

The pump is worthless. Too much demand, too much effort for nothing in return.

I was hoping for some help because I have the same problem. I also find at night the pals are all sleeping. None stay on the generators. I have two new ones. I haven't been able to get to the oil rigs & stay alive to get anything from them. Will keep trying. I hope they change the oil pump output to faster. They are a waste of time right now. Especially in single player.

Should have just put hand pumpers on the rigs and let us place strong Pals on them to hand pump it. Then it could require less power to function properly!

i have 2 oil pumps with 2 dynamos 4 helzephyr lux and 1 orserk and its working jsut fin( plus the anten to improve electricity), and shroom to improve core, i am also using salads to improve electricity production, but it's too slow anyway

- 1 Large Power Generator
- 1 Electric Pylon
- 3 Helzephyr Lux with Artisan + Work Slave + Serious

with this you can manage to get the large power generator constantly at 90% power capacity, a full day online can get you more than 1K crude oil

So i built 2 new generators and had 4 oserks working on them. I had plenty. Decided to have 2 oserks with nocturnal and artisan trait. It does not drop Under 99%. Oserks Are not upgraded one bit. I am going to upgrade 1 to max level at some point and see If it works. I also have furnaces and stuff running so i don't know, but works just fine for me. 1 generator just stands there because i assigned 2 oserks to 1 generator

fun fact: you can fit 5 pumps on 1 node. the 3 node area in volcano can have 15 oil pumps.

breed 14 (or more) work speed/nocturnal oserk at max condensing to get tier 5 charging (tier 5 is about twice as good as tier 4), build electric bonus tower (only 1 counts), then build 7 of new charging towers, & a max condensed shroom pal (they reduce SAN drain for pals in base) while also making sure have a bed for them all (just to prevent san drain from not having one)

Feed em w/ either food that increases work speed or reduces SAN loss.

Ok, inquiring minds want to know - how?

This piqued my interest as it hadn't occurred to me to try, but I can't seem to place more than one per node, even if barely touching on a side, it just doesn't let me. I thought to try stacking them like my planters, but I can't drop an oil pump atop a stool or bench to go vertical either.

Don't tease with the good stuff, how are you doing so?

I don't know. I have a Large Electric Generator and two Orzerks (and a couple of other Pals with the ability to generate electricity) at my Oil Drill base, and after a while I got 40-50 something units of oil in one of my dressers.

Would you please explain how you accomplished this sharing of oil nodes?
There is a message stating the object is too close to special boss or facility when you place an additional oil pump on the same node with a pre-existing oil pump. It does not seem to be possible to 'share' nodes.

Much the same here trying to place 2 or more. I've tried placing them as absolute borderline as I can get, and simply won't let me drop two atop a node.

A youtuber mentioned it might be patched out as an exploit, wondering if it has already as there seems to have been a few updates today alone, or the fact that i'm playing a dedicated server maybe affects this? I know timing is way different for resets with a persistent dedicated server vs. standalone, certain things seem to NOT work on dedicated I've seen others report do on their standalone games.

I did find the 3 node location in the volcano area, about half way between Jetragon and the far east fast travel at -855 x -457, I'm debating relocation if I can't get more than 1 to drop per node.
