2 oil pumps per node, 6 oil pumps in one base.

you need to really place them almost picture perfect, so I tried to show as much as I could how I aligned mine. This will make the oil grind a little better.

To be fair....i get more oils and faster through finding them and oil rig than with the oil extractor xD

Useful info. Thanks!

But you have to actively do something to get them. Palworld is a factory automation game at its core so time spent on doing something fast that could be done automatically is time wasted.

I just destroyed a base and i was looking for a good spot with more nodes than 2 so thanks a ton.

Wait, it's 3 nodes and you can place 2 on each? Even better.

Not really.
Some things you cannot automate, like collecting Sulfur. Or parts like bones, Ice Organs, or Pal fluids.

Most of the crude oil I get is from supply drops and some Pals on Sakurajima.
------

Still, I was trying to set up a base for oil extraction, so the video is very helpful.
I did look around that volcanic beach, but I thought those areas only had one node within a base's range.
I guess I missed some of the nodes in that area, judging by the video.

Which is honestly a better area than I'm currently scouting: on top of the small lone mesa in the Desiccated Desert (not far from the teleport spot closest to the mainland), which I picked because it had two nodes.
But temperature management is unfeasible, due to it being hot at day and cold at night.
(The area in the video would be a lot easier to manage. It's just hot all day)

My location wasn't even good for security, as raids just magically appear on top of the mesa, despite the fact they would have had to climb the sheer cliffs to get up there.
-----

Awesome video, OP.
You've given me some good ideas.

Ah, good to know.
(I'm only Lv 47, and hadn't noticed that far ahead)

Still, that's pretty close to being endgame. So for most of the game Sulfur can't be automated.

You can automate Sulfur, bones and pal fluids, just not ice organs. You can automate like 90% of this game, at a certain point. Building a base in a location with like coal, sulfur, or quartz can let your pals in base mine them if they have the high enough mining, those structures you build are just more convenient and consistent.

Edit: think you need mining 2 on the pal for sulfur and iron, then coal and quartz is 3. So you can automate all of them relatively easy. well before you actually need the materials themselves.

Why not just do both? Im trying to fit 2 extractor as well but doesnt seems to be able to do it. I will try this guide later.

How do you automate bones and pal fluids? Don't think I've seen anything for that.

Edit: Oh wait, do you mean the ranch?
