Are achievements bugged?

I've captured over 5 humans (even before this new patch) and leveled up 5 Pals to level 55 but didn't get the respective achievements.
Do I need to do it all over again or do some of you also have this issue?

I would've had all the new achievements that would've been possible in the old version. The only one it gave me right away was the one for catching 1000 pals. I caught another human and was able to get the new achievement for it. So yeah, you'll likely just have to do it all over again.

You only get achievements on dedicated servers, single player does not count.

It's odd, because it gave me two achievements retroactively when I logged in, but I've not looked at what all of them are so I don't know if there are one I should have gotten and didn't.

The "fully upgrade 5 pals" achievement is meaning to use the condenser to turn your 0-star pals into 5-star pals not to get them to 55. And I got a bunch of the achievements in my single player map last night it doesn't have to be multiplayer.

For the record I started a fresh world to do this and cranked the exp way way up just to go see all the cool stuff added so game difficulty doesn't matter in respect to the achieves either.

I got that "fully upgrade" part after I made this post, but I still haven't gotten the human capture achievement lol

You gotta do the achievements after the patch, so go catch another human and go max out more pals and you should get em.

I have cleared all the tower bosses multiple times today in an attempt to get the clear 6 tower bosses in hard mode and still have not gotten the achievement. Kinda annoying since the new tower boss in hard mode legit one shots your ass in palmetal, and I'm only now just about to hit level 51.

Well, I did take a look and I did not get all the acheiments that I should hav. However, I did notice it gave me all of them that would have applied to the current world I i'm playin in. Like in one world I've since deleted, I actually caught one of every merchant, but I've also since decided they are not worth a spot in the pal box, so I've never bothered to do it since. So if you have more than one world. I suspect getting on all of them, will get you the achievements from them.

Someone like me that deleted their other worlds, we're kind of boned and have to do it again.
