Odds are if your crashing but 40k players are playing actively the problems your end. Even if i wish that wasnt the case because god it would be easier if they could fix my ♥♥♥♥ lol.
Made an edit explaining further
It's not just me with this problem, there's others who have better specs than I and still have this problem.
This has been happening for months now, it’s not just a problem that has now surfaced. There’s multiple people from months before it happened to me with the same issue. So pretty safe to say that there should have been a fix by now.

you can seek support from their discord directly but idk man it doesn't help your case if you are below the minimum specs
it runs like sub 40 fps in the starting area on 720p low, it's pretty bad imo

Apparently this issue isn't important enough for other pal players or the devs themselves to take seriously, this issue has been going on for months apparently and no one has any real answer
Do keep in mind that doing this will effectively lower the maximum sustained clocking speed. You might still briefly reach the same speeds, but you won't be able to keep it there for longer periods. Unfortunately, this isn't always an option, and some chips don't allow changing their voltage.
I would *not* recommend underclocking to 100mhz, as you would effectively turn your PC into one from the 90s.
Oh and if you don't know how to access your BIOS/UEFI: It's done on the initial powering up of your computer. Before the operating system starts up, you (usually) press either F2 or F12 (depending on the manufacturer). and it will launch into BIOS instead of Windows/Mac/Linux/etc. If your monitor is on before your computer turns on, you should briefly see something displayed which will include telling you what button to press. This is your motherboard's firmware, and is used to control the majority of your hardware settings, install operating systems, change boot order, etc.
The Intel TDP default for that chip is between 12-28W. If it is at 28W, consider dropping it to 25 or 24. This will slightly lower the maximum overclocking speeds, but you should still get roughly up to 4GHz.
