not able to assign astegon to breeding farm

i play on a server a friend of mine owns and i managed to catch 2 astegons through the boss battle in lava land i have them in my base but i cant pick them up to assign them to the breeding farm, and i did check with a boss menasting and that one did go to the breeding farm so i know the issue is not them being bosses

idk how big astegon is, but if it's too big you might have to jump to get to the point where you can pick them up. That's the case for me with the Jormuntide Boss. also make sure you aren't trying to pick them up while they sleep.

put in box then grab as soon as you pull back out had this happen a few times

sometimes the pals wont go in the farm due to resting.

I haven't tried it yet, but the newer update that lets you assign where each pal is working: can you just specify that it needs to go to the breeding pen without touching it?

I had this issue. Just need to get a bit higher up (although this is something I hope they fix). I had to jump on top of a workbench to get high enough to pick it up.
