Mouse stopped working

Makes my mouse stop working. It is not my system. It is not my mouse. Do not suggest it is my system or mouse not working.

If you want the devs to see it, you need to report it in game, not here.

Okay... Devs look in multiple places. and I cant if I cant even use the game because the mouse doesn't work.... Kinda wild huh?
And if the devs don't look at the steam discussions page they don't care about their player input. Just saying.

So this will sound weird, I had the same issue. To fix it I had to uninstall palworld on my laptop (I play on my PC, they share the same xbox live account) After I uninstalled the game went back to normal.

I found a fix, funny enough the fix is the same one used in “The Finals”

Fix: unplug all USBs connected to your PC. Now connect your mouse and keyboard to USB 3.0 ports ONLY (google your mobo manual and view which are 3.0 ports (most newish boards are 3.2+) you might have 2-3 3.0 ones on back of mobo, if your too posh like me and no ports on your mobo are 3.0 then what I had to do is google my case manufacturer and check if those USB ports were 3.0 and lucky they are, so I plugged them into the 3.0 and now no longer any issues.

If you have other devices, you will need to use these 3.0 ports too, even using my USB-C port to charge my phone would cause the disconnect so yeah it’s very specific.

The Finals still havnt fixed it either so doubt PalWorld will anytime soon, this is the only work around.

Huh, yeah that's different. I don't know that we're having the same issue, only my keyboard is usb and my mouse is bluetooth but both freeze until I ctrl alt del. That was before I uninstalled the game on my laptop, which fixed my issue. Weird stuff I guess

We understand but Grim, is it for (lets say) 50 out 100 Win 11 players or is it 100 out of 100 Win 11?

I am not trying to offend you Grim it is just that I can't find many Win 11 players having such issue with Palworld which made me think that it might be for some of you :/

i have win 10 and i get the same issue, mouse buttons stop working suddenly a few times a week

There are alot of possilbe points of failure. Even if your mouse and PC is new and every other game you own works it can still be a problem with either one.

What make and model of mouse do you have? Do you use the software of the mouse?

All the ports work. I had paid for everything to be tested before it was sent to me. I have asked people to look at my pc to see if it's a pc issue. Everything is working fine but the game. My pc is literally only 2 months old.
I made this post for the devs because others have the same issue with windows 11. I shouldn't have to disable anything. This is just devs not addressing an issue that has been known for a while. I haven't found a solution for fixing the issues on the devs end. No other game I have has this issue.
I know you guys want to believe this game is 100% but it isn't. Clearly it has issues with windows 11 and newer systems.

If you want assistance from devs, you're better off hitting discord or in game form. they don't visit here often. What mouse is it?

What kind of mouse? Could it be wireless and need a refresh of batteries, have you tried reseating it in the usb? did you try a new port? Sometimes it's as easy as plugging and unplugging. Do you have pets or children, did they chew the wires? Is there wire damage? Do you have power issues overall? You could even need to delete a profile on the mouse software that maybe disabling it in palworld only. You say it's not the mouse, but there's got to be a reason in your system that it wouldn't' work in game but in every other game? Gonna need more info.

I had to reinstall GHUB two days ago from a bum update from windows. btw. my mouse dpi kept resetting to the lowest setting until I updated it.

having the exact same problem right now and it worked fine for hours earlier today only started on my end about 15 minutes ago when trying to fire it up so buddy and i could play togehter

my gamepad sometimes wont work in menus, and i have to get out of the menu, get it back up and try again....

not sure if its related to the mouse's problem or not.

We play it in 3 people in my family, none of us has ever had mouse issue (except, in the character creation which is a known bug) but once in game? neveer. 400 hours each of us.

Conclusion? It's your system OR your mouse.
