Mouse stopped working

Makes my mouse stop working. It is not my system. It is not my mouse. Do not suggest it is my system or mouse not working.

Are you playing primarily with kb+m or controller and sometimes trying to use the mouse?

Oh, you know if your controller is still plugged in and set down in a way that a button is constantly pressed... it may make your mouse mess up. like above said.

Are you playing with any mods? Does your mouse work for awhile, then randomly stop? If so, does it ever start working again or do you have to unplug it or exit the game?

No mods, nothing out of the normal of the vanilla game. Everything is factory settings for the game and my pc is very new and up to date. I have to exit the game and when i relaunch it, it continues to have the same issues. Ive restarted the game, my pc, verifying files. ect.
This is 100% on their end

For a game with millions of players, this has been one of the rarer bugs. One person said disabling controllers in steam worked. Another said nothing has worked at all. It may be a particular mouse model/brand/drivers or some niche combination of OS/drivers that causes it. New doesn't fully correlate to perfectly functional or compatible.

I have not had any problems with the mouse in Windows 10.

The mouse cursor sometimes disappears when the background is the same color (white).

If another program is running in the background and it pops up a window demanding input, your mouse focus will move to that program. However, the game will hide the pop up. You can check if this is the cause by pressing alt tab to cycle through the programs that are running.

Windows 10 had a lot of pop up notifications when it was new. It took some effort to stop them. I don't know if Windows 11 repeats this behaviour.

Strange, very strange….

Have you tried testing that mouse on a different computer?

If another computer can work with your mouse then the original computer you were using the mouse with may have messed the connection settings and made it non functionable

p.p.s Grim, check your USB port of your PC tower box because sometimes when you purchase new PC either they don't connect the whole USB ports of PC tower box (an example 5 out of 10 USB ports of PC tower box will work). Or also check for your PC USB port settings and/or any Windows updates, etc. Search the Google too to see if you find any answers to your issue.

Okay, I don't know how to tell you guys this. But if the mouse only has issues with one game... It isn't the mouse. It is new. Hasn't had any issues what so ever. If the game has an issue with one of the popular brands of mouse well... Once again. Dev issue.
All the ports work. I had paid for everything to be tested before it was sent to me. I have asked people to look at my pc to see if it's a pc issue. Everything is working fine but the game. My pc is literally only 2 months old.
I made this post for the devs because others have the same issue with windows 11. I shouldn't have to disable anything. This is just devs not addressing an issue that has been known for a while. I haven't found a solution for fixing the issues on the devs end. No other game I have has this issue.
I know you guys want to believe this game is 100% but it isn't. Clearly it has issues with windows 11 and newer systems.

I believe we understand but are you sure that all of the players who have Windows 11 have issues? I think not all :/
That is why it is good that you get replies even from us the players (I can't talk for my self because I have Win 10)
