Bellanoir killed 17 of my strongest Pals

I really wish they would add a warning about permanently losing Pals in addition to the other warnings you get. I would not have done that fight if I knew that I could permanently lose Pals.

Put them in your Pal Box. They are just knocked out. you can't kill them unless you personally use the butcher knife on them.

when the palbox breaks the pals drop into spheres on the ground you have to pick up.

it wont give the usual marker when you lose your inventory on death so you have to eyeball it

It's possible they could be higher up and invisible (saw someone mention that on a reddit forum). Report that if you've lost them and cannot find them. Fly around the area slowly and check for pal balls lying around

I rebuilt my palbox but they aren't available to be put back into the palbox from that palbox or my others.

did you look at the pal vendors? idk how many of your missing pals they might offer or how much they demand bit they might be an option if nothing else works.

another option would be using a backup save and restoring to s time before the box was destroyed or you summoned bellanoir.

worst case scenario they spawned under the ground and under the ground is usually water so they're gone forever

you could load an earlier backup, it kinda functions like a save/load mechanic

I tried looking at pal vendors and so far didn't see any. I'll contact the server admin to see if he can do a rollback. It's a small server so he might do it for me, plus I think I'm the only one that was on today.

My partner was able to get under the ground and under the water but we were unable to locate any so far.

if the spheres fell through the ground you should still get their blue beams that still let you pick them up. another question: are you their original trainer? do pals get put back into the box of the OT when the box breaks?

For sure use the bug reporting option from the game menu, that's the sort of thing that should be brought up to the devs!

Yeah you gotta report this to the devs, since (like most devs) they dont even read the steam forums, understandable choice tbh.

I think after a server restart they are gone

they dropped underground into water. This happens when you base is too big. Mine was destroyed by hackers many times, and the same thing happened
