New bug - switching to bow autofires it

Hello,
after stopping playing for a couple of months I tried starting again yesterday,
I play co-op with a friend and apparently now every time we switch weapon to the bow it auto fires. The auto firing is not visible to the player owning the character but it is visible to the other.
In my case my friend said he saw me shooting every time I switched to bow, apparently I fixed it by unequipping it and re-equipping it, in his case it didn't work.

The other difference is that on my side it never consumed arrows while it did on his side, also those arrows didn't do any actual damage.

Is this a known bug? Any way to fix it?

Same for me, haven't found a fix. Does this with all bow types.

This happens to me on the triple shot bow, but not the crossbow. I was pretty sure it was consuming ammo though. I just stopped using the bow. Would like to hear how to fix it.

I crafted a new simple bow and had the same issue as the triple one, also tried a completely new world, it still happens.

I've sent at least 2 bug reports for this to no avail, has anything changed with the latest update?
It's like they're not acknowledging it at all.

I'm wondering if there isn't something common among your systems. Because it doesn't seem to be wide spread, but it would seem to be more than just a few people. Not that we'll figure that out, not that it's really your fault. But I still wonder, there must be something common among your specific rigs that's causing it.

I have no idea, my friend has a completely different PC and has the same bug, it's also worth to notice that in the old versions of the game this bug wasn't present.
