Pal Sphere Absolute Maximum Capture
I have been testing out what the absolute maximum level a standard blue ball has a chance of capturing throughout my gaming, and have discovered that contrary to popular believe, the maximum level a blue sphere can capture unaided is in fact lvl 25

This can me upgraded through the collecting Lifmunk Statues, as each rank in Capture rate will improve success by 1 level, for a maximum of 10 levels. You can see this as when you throw the sphere the actual capture rate is shown momentarily, before the boost kicks in.

Bare in mind this does require the Pal to be at level low health,, and you will not get capture on the first try at maximum level - but it is doable up to level 35. Player level does not appear to have any impact on capture (other than survival)

Given that:

Palsphere (blue) has an innate capture power of 7
Megasphere (green) has an innate capture power of 12
Gigasphere (yellow) has an innate capture power of 20
Hypersphere (red) has an innate capture power of 26
Ultraphere (pink) has an innate capture power of 32
Legendary Sphere (purple) has an innate capture power of 37

It is possible to theorise the absolute maximum capture rate for each sphere by subtracting 7 from the standard blue sphere's maximum to obtain a base value (25-7 = 18) assuming this capture power is level based, and recalculating according for each sphere's power rating:

Palsphere (blue) 18 + 7 = 25 (+10 = 35)
Megasphere (green) 18 + 12 = 30 (+10 = 40)
Gigasphere (yellow) 18 + 20 = 38 (+10 = 48)
Hypersphere (red) 18 + 26 = 44 (+10 = 54)
Ultraphere (pink) 18 + 32 = 50 (+10 = 60)
Legendary Sphere (purple) 18 + 37 = 55 (+10 = 65)

Note that while Ultra, and Legendary appear redundant here at maxed Lifmunk Power, these balls will have a much higher rate of success than the Hypersphere.

...what about with status effects?

Not true, if you play on hard.

It is hard to quantify status effects, as they do not always hold for long enough during capture, but I can confirm that a status effect will at least raise the capture level by 1, if not more.

Naturally. This exercise was undertaken in default settings. I would not be surprized the capture chance decreased with hard mode (it's mentioned in the settings :P). I am curious to know by how much, however. Given that the spheres have a set capture power, them base value must be reduced.
