Suggestion: Inventory/Storage lock

Hey been loving the game so far but i'd love to be able to either favourite/lock items in the inventory to prevent them being stacked or lock the position of an item to a certain slot hen it's picked up and another item isn't already taking up that slot. Accidentally quick stacking your pal spheres or ammo in a chest is quite annoying when I always like to have them at the bottom of the inventory out of the way.

Also something similar for storage chests would be great to lock in items for the given slots to stop other items being placed in them for example the feed basket having wheat placed ahead of your actual food gets frustrating or not being able to quick stack leather into your materials storage because your leather run out.

Being able to lock baked berries, bread and then normal berries as the first 3 slots so extras like wheat goes in the last slots would be such a great quality of life change for me.

Thanks for the reply but it doesn't work since I use the items up when crafting or cooking. The max amount button is great so use it all the time but with that it means things like ores, wheat, wood, stone, paladium, berries, etc, etc are used up and removed from the chest for other items to take it's place. And not possible with the inventory since dying is quite easy in the game especially when going after higher level pals which i do frequently and all items get added in the inventory randomly or as mentioned when accidentally quick stacking all your pal spheres or ammo into the chest vixy's farmed items go to

put honey or candy floss in slots 2-5 in the feedbox, and your pizza, salad, baked berries or whatever in the first slot. When they eat it all the first slot becomes available again, meaning they will store and subsequently eat whatever gets stacked next, so you need to keep on top of the food you wish for them to consume. If you have them eating raw berries you don't have to micromanage the feedbox (and they won't get sanity or work speed bonuses).

Thanks I had normal berries for a long while but i got eikthyrdeer, tombats and arsox going insane on me all the time while logging and mining so switched to baked berries but they're always filling up the first couple slots with wheat and raw berries, i'll have to make do as it is but i think being able to lock items to a slot would be a great QoL feature that i'd love to see
