Anything different to do once you hatch a huge dragon egg, compared to hatching everything else?

Also, why do I keep finding articles that give the chances of certain hatches coming out of dragon eggs, but they add up to 65%?

Pretty much the same, just takes longer. These eggs tend to have some of the most useful pals in the game. Like a dragon with +4 kindling or +4 watering.
