Just a 'online' question:
I've not made it too far into the game, especially since I took a short break to get my internet fixed up a bit, but from start to now I've never been able to actually find a 'server' that has good connection for me, best one I ever found was a 89 or so non red one I couldn't access and now after fixing my connection and getting back to a good speed over all I can't find any server below 100 and red colored.
Is this usual for most? Or is my connection and location just screwing me that good?

P.S. Curious cause I also just started up helldivers2 and haven't had any other issue with connection barring there server issues. So don't know why my connections to any servers would be so 'pleasant'.
Thanks for any info mates!

P.S.S I WILL CATCH ANUBIS!!!

EDIT: CORRECTION: sorry forgot there was one server I did manage to connect to only no one else would connect to it and now a days when I look in 'former servers' that servers ping is always well over 300+ when it was about 90 I think when I first tried it. Just wanted to correct my mistake, love this game too much to sound like I'm pushing anything else.

There are plenty of servers I can connect to that are around 60 ping and play alright. Never removes the rubber-banding entirely, but it's much better than the server I currently play on.

That being said, there are other factors involved that have pushed me into a well-run and functional dead server on the other side of the world vs a server in the same city as me.

Palworld online is in a weird state until they update the game a bit, so you'll have to develop a tolerance, search for the PERFECT server likely locked behind a Discord, or find something else to do until the game is patched up a bit.

Thank you for the info Shrub! I'll happily wait while still pushing my own character further in, second I can land an actual online bout I'll have no issue starting over, games too fun to worry about that.

There are too few servers, they never expected this kind of gamer response.
They have said they will be increasing the number of servers and hosting on more robust providers as well. One thing they are waiting on is money, they made a lot of sales but are still waiting on the first checks to arrive to start all the planned improvements.
That being said...
You honestly might have more fun in single. The only players consistently having fun online are the Griefers. between that and rollbacks/crashes ... unless you have a close group of friends you want to host a server with ... its just not worth the headache right now. ** A few months from now, the story may be 180 ... but who knows other than Time.
~"TIMMY!". no, "Time". TIMMYYY!!" ... :steamdeadpan:

Same, there's fun in the cycle :)

That said, the devs have stated they want to implement a means of transferring your character data across servers (I'm thinking maybe like Terraria?) so you may be able to bring that character as well as your pals along later.

Don't let them hear, but I actually enjoy the chaos they bring even though I wish they'd be more empathetic to others.

I also wish they couldn't wipe the server at will, but there's a thrill to coming on the next day and your super hidden base is still in-tact while everyone is screaming in chat about a hacker on Windswept Hills.

I also managed to convince one to not wipe us and give me a bunch of the 'admin balls', could catch almost anything instantly. Fun times. :)
