Butchering is very buggy, losing many items and pals

Most of the time when I butcher (not just me btw) the butchering mechanic tends to just not work. The pal dies but there is no items to collect. Either the pal ends up falling through the floor or gets shot through the sky depending on the scenario.

While we're on the topic of butchering, I hope there will be a "slaughterhouse" one day because doing it one at a time is very time consuming when you need to clean up your inventory.

The problem is that the items sometimes phase through the floor. A solution is to create an elevated platform (such as a roof connected to walls) and butcher the Pals while on the platform.

It's a percentage drop chance, it's not 100% every time

I created an elevated room just for butchering because I noticed this too. They should add offal as a decoration I can get for tech points.
Also, I'd say about 25% of the time I battle a dng or arena boss I fall thru the floor or it does.
That's really killing a lot of fun for me. I skip dngs and dread bosses because of this.

It would be nice to get more pet functionaliy from the palbox... butchering. At least give us an option on pals with multiple skill to let them use 1 skill, or let us give em work priorities. Breeding pals parent should get their own menu in the box Or give breeding farms their own box. I mean 64 palls to upgrade 1 for parents and kids dragging them can be annoying with multiple pals in the way, and if they are fast moving pals.

Are any of you sure items are dropping through the ground? are you butchering in base or outside base, if you notice the items drop from the sky the majority of the time stuff gos missing and any transporting pals in your base pick up the items and put them away

Either they fall thru the floor or didn't drop. But when something like Jetragon doesn't drop anything then I'm thinking it went thru the floor. I've also done the butchering in several different places and I don't do it anywhere close to the working pals. Don't want them to see lol.

yep you dont always get materials for butchering them , if you decide to do this i believe you should get double of the materials for doing so , as you have to first capture them and then craft an item to use to butcher then lose the pal ,
