How about a Pal that has a variant in every element. It pretends to be a pal egg till you get close then it attacks you. Basically it's an egg that fights.

Oh, like a D&D mimic. That would be neat. Or same with rocks/trees? "Oreasaur" looks like a ore node, then pops up to attack?
