Look in the area for a mine entrance, usually spottable due to wood scaffolding in the area of the opening. Almost all the mine entrances look relatively the same in that manner, and usually are at the bottoms of a cliff face.

There is a cave system somewhere along the river that will lead to where they are located.

This is the case for multiple alpha/boss pals. If you don't see it directly on the surface, go to the edge of the island and look along the river.

this is funny. I found Broncherry Aqua before I started attacking any of the Bosses on the map.

(I was looking for a good place to make a base.)
