At the end of the day there's no reason why people cant like both.
yeah the last few pokemons were trash(sun and moon was the last straw for me)
but the sole purpose of video games is to have fun.many gamers play many different games of different genres but also enjoy ones that have similar mechanisms to games they've already played.
I think Palworld is superior to pokemon in various aspects because it caters to more than just fans of monster catching games.it also has the ability to draw in fans of open world survivor genre.
This is something that is kind of lacking with the pokemon company.they found a formula that works and stuck with it but that formula runs stale when you release so many games with very few changes to gameplay and your main selling point is just 'new pokemon'
But at the same time i guess you can say pokemon has way more monsters and type variances and more element types that obviously makes the monster versus monster aspect better in some ways compared to Palworld.
of course palworld is only at early access so it wil be interesting to see overtime how Palworld develops and if it becomes superior in this aspect too.
As for favourite pokemon for me probably Kingler or Elektross
Palworld favourite pal is probably Digtoise
If I had to pick a favorite Pokemon, it would probably have to be Cryogonal, of all things. That angry snowflake was a killer.
As for favorite Pal, Sparkit, hands down. Cutest little grump I ever did see~
All their nintendo poke games have been trash copy pastes for decades
And that's fair, Cryogonal is kinda ugly but I like it in a cool way (no pun intended) and I loved that high speed/high sp. attack combo, it served me well in the late game!
