Alright Pengullet defenitly evolves into Penking right?

I know pals cant evolve, but pengulet and Penking look WAY to similar. Penking just looks like an evolved from tbh! 1. Same first starting letter. 2. The boss has penguleit as his minions. 3. Both penguins! I don't get it.

I would rather fusions but that's just me. I feel like condensing should be reworked to that.

I mean anyone could easily tell just by looking at the similarities of certain "Pals" that quite a few of them, if not ALL of them were meant to Evolve into one another.

It was probably something they had before, but decided to take out, so Nintendo, and Gamefreak, would have even less on them to file a lawsuit.

I do hope for future content o bring evolutions though, it would be nice to see one day. Or instead of "Evolving" simply use the Pal Condenser to do such means after "X" amount of a certain Pal are used.

I think they were going to do evolutions but decided against it.
Probably a good call, the game already is getting enough flack for Pals Designs being very close to pokemon designs, Legally not close enough to sue, but still close.

No. Pokemon taking the path of introducing earlier, and even later evolutions with later generations was too much of a stretch. There whole evolution system just kept getting more ridiculous. It was silly to begin with. I believe not using that was a better design choice.

Distinct species is just a more natural system. They also chose for all Pals to hatch from eggs

A lot of people would do better to not use as hard a Pokemon lens of looking at this game.

Now I will rant a little:
In Pokemon my 2 favourites are both unevolved forms. Because the biggest element for Pokemon's popularity was surely the cute Pokemons. Catering to the young including girls. With the general combat theme and later forms not slighting the boys.

Now back to evolutions the choice does exist in Pokemon to have the pokemon resist the evolution, or not use the stone or other mechanism. Generally justifiable with faster learning of stronger moves (I believe there were moves which could only be learnt but resisting the evolution to a certain point) however the attribute growth cost would almost always be too great a cost. and now I think about it: the Xp setup that your whole party gains, unlike used Pokemon, would additionally complicate the system. Though there are work arounds. But as Fenix stated: moving closer to Pokemon would surely not be a good strategy, esp. not at this time

You can't really use the "Cute" pals meta wise because they slowly become useless just like pre-evolutions in Pokemon.

It's always been a choice to use whatever you like best or what's most efficient but unfortunately gamers these days want their cake and to eat it, no consequences at all.

Its a game. You play it like you want. The more options available the better, however there is always a limit to potential and capacity.

Most people want to be fed the meta, yes. Fortunately the game is not limited to PvP servers.
