probably a port forwarding issue. you need to forward (aka: open) certain ports on your router to allow other players to connect to your server.

I know you need 8211 (UDP) forwarded, possibly others as well. I think I have 27015-27017 (TCP+UDP) forwarded as well but that may not be necessary based on some of my readings lately

try forwarding UDP 8211 first to see if that resolves the issue. google "palworld port forwarding guide" too if you're confused by any of this, there are lots of guides on this. good luck :)

EDIT: this *only* needs to be done on the network that's hosting the server. so if you are hosting this from a computer at your house, you'll need to forward ports on *your* router, but your friends can just connect as normal.

I think i got you,my only problem is that somehow the modem is locked so i need to log in with *admin* etc. So i need to call my provider.

that's totally normal. all routers will require a login, generally they default to something like "admin/admin" or "admin/password" for the factory assigned user/pass combo.

walk over to your router, whereever it is physically in your home/apartment. pick it up and look at the back of it, the bottom of it, the sides etc. there should be a little sticker that has some information on it, probably showing the SSID, serial number, etc. either on this sticker or nearby it there should be another sticker with the router's default username and password.

if there is no sticker, you can look up the make and model of your router online to find the default user/pass.

A modem does not handle port forwarding, a router does. You might have a combination unit.

Your router will have a public IP, and everything inside your network has a local area ip. Port forwarding says if someone on the outside connects to your public ip (the routers public/WAN side), forward that data to whatever internal IP you specify.

port 8211 with the UDP protocol should work.

If you are trying to connect to the server from inside your network (like your PC is not the server), you MIGHT need to use that server's LAN address, while everyone outside would use your routers public address.

You also want to make sure you open the port on windows firewall, so it doesn't just block the traffic the router forwards to it.
