Is it possible to catch Mammorest with a Palsphere?

I'm on Level 12 currently, I'm just wondering if anyone can catch it without a high level sphere. I think my question is stupid but I want answers.

Consider using gigasphere for that pal. at like lvl 25 it won't be a big trouble to produce those

I believe it is technically possible to catch any pal with even the most basic palsphere if you have enough bonuses stacked up. Even if the chance is 1% on a back throw.

I think you can max at like a 2-3% on one with a regular palsphere. So I wouldn't bother trying.

You can, but not with your level. I captured 10 of the regular mamorest and 10 frost ones.

Its possible by baiting it into fireplaces so it takes fire damage and then reset it. (but dont go to far or hp will get reset) Then you have to go behind it and use a ball. Its a realy realy low chance.

Well, but it should be possible. I managed to catch today legendary on 100% hp by trowing the best ball at its back.

Back attack does not take effect if the Pal is aggro'd on you or your Pal, FYI. So everyone saying "got it to 1hp and backshot" no, you didn't get a backshot bonus. You'll know you got the bonus if it makes a loud thud noise and hangs for half a second. Back shots CANNOT be obtained during combat (unless the opponent is fleeing, aka NOT aggro'd, which Mammorests do not do).

alot of these comments are BS and lies. it is possible but the chance is super low with regular pal spheres. theres a video of someone throwing a normal at like level 5 and catching one

the pal scales down but a low level mammorest has much higher stats than most early game pals that you find even at level 15-20 so it will let you steam roll the early to mid game. same reason why there are so many videos about running to end game areas to grab eggs at low levels.

Helpful tip: If you're struggling getting a pal captured, attack it until it has like 1% HP left then run away. Turn your camera so you can see the pal as you retreat (so you don't lose track of it)... get far enough away that the pal stops attacking you and runs back to its initial spot to begin its usual idle animation. Then run back up to it and you can get the benefits of both the "back shot" bonus and the low hp bonus.

also, as you explore you'll find some areas of the map spawn free mega spheres on the ground in addition to the regular basic blue ones. additionally, if you open every chest you see while you explore, after a little while you'll have a good stash of mega/giga/hyper spheres to use.

It's possible, but don't forget, they'll be scaled down to your level and they're very average fighters
