Best Base Location

What's your favorite location for a base?? I'm a new player so I just put my base by the starting area, next to the lake.. I like it because there's tons of resources around. But what about you?

SE of Felbat, there's a flat space big enough for three bases there. Some trees, a couple stone, a couple ore. No raids on the top flat level. (the one with two ores by a jutting rock and a chest). - Occasional raids on the second level flat area. (one with 1 ore that is closer to the water.)

No best places. My base locations:

190 / -35 : Iron, Coal, no raids, but no flat space. The pals don t work too well here
10 / -530 : Lots of ireon, flat place, well working pals. But you may get raided
-75 / 190 : Flat place, no raids, 4 respawning chests, but no ressources and the pals don t work too well

So far, the SE part of Windswept Hills where there is a spot with 7 or so ore nodes. I build a "house" on the upper flat. Lots of crafting tables, ranch, breeding on the lower part while avoiding blocking any ore. Stairs between the two levels. This is an excellent first base too with a little extra effort, but works easily as your 2nd base too.
